Islands depend on resources transported in from the main land. Six countries will do it differently. Goal of the ‘Cradle to Cradle Islands’ is to be selfsustainable in energy, water and material by the year 2020. Most Dutch people bring a shopping bag. A deposit for plastic bags has been introduced ages ago. I am all for making less consuming attractive and fun. French couturier Franck Sorbier has made a beautiful statement showing plastic bags are worth keeping. Outfit Mother Teresa is part of his autumn/winter 2008-2009 fashion presentation.

Although the Prius makes you look 15 years older than you are, the ‘different’ design is also its success. Likewise the Mission One EV does the same for motorbikes. Designed by Yves Behar, who also drew
for Mini, Birkenstock and Nike, the Special Edition is worth 70.000 dollar. Once those are sold, us normal people can buy the bike.
